A Quiet Moment in the Kitchen; Cannabis Cookies

Cannabis Cookies, Made with Intention-

There’s something grounding about baking. The quiet focus, the familiar rhythm, the way the kitchen slowly fills with warmth and comfort. Recently, I made a batch of cannabis-infused cookies — not to teach or instruct, but simply to enjoy the process and the moment.

This wasn’t about measurements or methods. It was about intention.

Cooking with cannabis, for me, is an extension of mindfulness. It’s choosing quality ingredients, moving slowly, and being present with what I’m creating. The cookies themselves were soft, comforting, and familiar — the kind you reach for when you want to unwind and feel held by something simple.

What I appreciate most about cannabis in food is how it invites patience. You can’t rush it. You respect the plant, the process, and your own body’s response. That awareness matters, especially when we talk about wellness and balance.

This was the first time I realized I hadn’t written about the food I create with cannabis — even though it’s been part of my personal practice for a long time. So this post is simply an acknowledgment of that space: food as ritual, cannabis as companion, and intention as the guiding thread.

More reflections like this to come…
